Did you even try and resolve the situation with Madhus before posting this. I feel your post cannot be substantiated.
I did mention that I noticed it today since I usually get my car washed outside and washed it myself today and noticed this.
The two wheels are the ones that were removed to fit the tpms. Diagonally opposite ones.
I am certain which is why I posted this.
I spoke to Madhus after the post once they saw it.

I don't find any reason to post this just to tarnish their reputation. The last time any work was done on related to the wheels on the car was last December at a Conti outlet and I didn't notice this scratch then.

Feel free to delete my initial post and subsuquent ones if you feel the need to.

I think @ajmat's point is highlighting the aspect that given close to 2 months have passed, the benefit of doubt would 100% be given to Madhus. There's not much of a outcome you can expect here other than garnering some generic responses from folks.

Also in a more ideal situation, one would have called them up first before posting anywhere online; but that's a moot point; as I doubt you would have got any further for the same reason as above.

But it's good to see the folks at Madhu's checked up with you. Hopefully (in both scenario they are/aren't responsible for these scratches) they make sure it doesn't happen for future customers.

@Tharian
Almost two months have gone by since you got the WA done at Madhus. Unless you drove directly home after that and kept your car parked till 2nd November the shop cannot be blamed.
There is an element of confirmation bias here which is natural after reading the not insignificant number of complaints. As others have pointed out, these don't look like the kind of marks you would get from tools.
Lest I be accused of being a Madhus flunky, I would like to point out that the first ever negative post about them on this forum was put up by me over 15 years ago when everyone else had only good things to say about them.

I agree that I should have spoken to them first.
I understand the logic behind the two months lapse too. My car is hardly used since I prefer my bikes and I take it out twice a week for a short drive. Like I mentioned earlier, I noticed it today, ran by all the other chances of it being scratched else where and then posted.

I also was clear to Moshin that I put up this post and that it wasn't out of any thought of them fixing it or penalizing who worked on my car and that was sorted with him and I appreciate them trying to retain me.

Re: Madhus Tyre Centre - Wilson Garden, Bangalore

I want to get my Maruti Jimny wheels aligned and tyres balanced and rotated.
Its done 3800 odd kms and after driving it around Im noticing a slight pull to the left and the steering wheel is a bit off centre - tilted to the right.
Tell-tale signs that my alignment is off.
Now I wanted to go to Madhu’s as I would normally do.
However, from all accounts, the Maruti Jimny requires a specific kind of equipment to reset the steering angle.
And it seems Madhu’s does not have this.
So it looks like I shall have to get it done at Nexa Service itself.
Saying that, even Nexa service or Maruti service don’t yet know enough about the Jimny’s quirks and requirements towards proper alignment and balancing. Upon speaking to one of the better Nexa’s, the Manager in charge told me that they’ve done this work but they’ve always had to re do it 3-4 times till they got it right.
Am wondering what to do considering the above.

Whatever it is, before you make an adverse post,

1: Try and resolve with clear factual evidence/records
2: If no joy, please post, again, best, with factual evidence/records

With all due respect, I believe OP did not cry wolf nor did he ask for anything out of the ordinary. He has simply shared his perspective, just as many of us have.

While it's true that you and others have had positive experiences, it's important to recognize that not everyone may share the same sentiment. Team BHP certainly provides a platform for all to share their views.

Do zoom in. It sure is significant to me.
Ouch! but this surely does NOT seem like from Tyre change. Unless someone stood there and did it with hand, did they replace the TPMS thing without removing tyre? This looks more like a classic kerb or loose boulder type of incident.

The issue with that is, as these are motorcycles which can reach unusual speeds at the blink of an eye, this small carelessness could simply have had life-threatening consequences.
Thank you!
I would like to share my experience at Madhus Tyre Center in Wilson Garden and provide feedback on the developments since this initial issue.

Since the incident, I have received multiple calls from the Madhus team. They have consistently acknowledged their mistakes and sought my suggestions on how they can improve their processes moving forward. I have conveyed to them that, while the financial aspect is not the only concern, the quality of the experience is paramount, particularly given that I am operating a high-performance 1000cc vehicle capable of reaching speeds of 200-300 km/h in under 10 seconds. Mistakes in such cases can have catastrophic consequences.

Despite my busy schedule in recent months, I found time to visit the center last weekend for a routine alignment and balancing service for my 4 wheeler—one that has consistently met my expectations over the past 10 years with Madhus. During my visit, I was pleased to learn about the improvements the team has made, particularly in servicing motorcycle tires.

My Virtus undergoing alignment works.

I had the opportunity to engage in a detailed discussion with the team in charge. They took the time to showcase their new equipment, including the upgraded paddock stands, which allow them to work on multiple bikes simultaneously. I was particularly impressed with the addition of a front paddock stand, a feature that is uncommon even in high-end superbike workshops. Furthermore, the team has upgraded their tools and undergone extensive training at various OEM service centers, including Highlander in HSR Layout—an establishment I personally trust.

The full paddock's on display, along with the flat ground. Peace of mind hits me now as a motorcycle owner.

The effort that has gone into implementing these improvements is commendable, and I am confident that fellow riders who have recently had their motorcycle tires replaced will have noticed these positive changes. I was unable to observe them sooner due to my travel commitments, but it is clear that progress has been made.

I appreciate the team’s genuine apologies and their openness to feedback. Although I do not claim to be an expert in this field, I shared my thoughts on what could be done to enhance the service and improve the overall experience for me and other riders.

While the Madhus team has invited me for wheel balancing on my motorcycle, I believe it is unnecessary at this time, as the recommended interval for service has not yet passed. I will reserve further comments until I return for my upcoming tire replacement and balancing service, which should be scheduled soon. I will definitely update here once my motorcycle tires are changed along with the experience

I hope this information proves helpful to those who personally reached out to me, seeking advice and considering other options for tire replacement. My aim with this post is to assist them in making an informed decision.

Re: Madhus Tyre Centre - Wilson Garden, Bangalore

Friend had two nails in the rear tyre of his Triumph Street Triple RS. Reluctant to do a normal strip fix on this soft compound sport tyre, he asked me to accompany him to Madhus to get a mushroom patch done. Instead of going directly to Madhus - we went to Gear Gear Motorcycles, had the wheel removed and taken to Madhus for the puncture fix.

Reporting as is for other customers to draw their own conclusions from this, and for the management to take this as a feedback if they think this needs improvement:

Work Done at Madhus:
Removal of tyre from the wheel
2 internal patches
Wheel balancing

Fixing the tyre back on the wheel

Time Taken at Madhus:
2 hours, 23 minutes

Cost at Madhus:
Mushroom Fix - 2 nos- Rs 900/-
Wheel balancing - Rs 423.73/-
Wheel weights - Rs 75/-
GST - Rs 251.78/-
Total - Rs 1650/-

The good news is that the new equipment and the flat ground for mounting the bikes are being put to good use:

And the lounge is truly amazing, doubt any tyre shop in the country can provide a better experience for waiting ~2.5 hours.

This is the best way to handle tyre issues for bigger (not run of the mill) bikes, as I have been saying before.

The new equipment and flat area for two wheelers is comforting and shows a proactive approach from Madhu's.

Still the staff may not have the expertise to take out a wheel from "bigger" bikes, smoothly, just because they may not be getting enough hands-on experience, as a in a workshops like Gear Gear or Motoradd.
