Just to make my figures more precise, I found the pricelist. Here it is, definitely nowhere close to what the service center charges. Tax is extra though :

Re: Madhus Tyre Centre - Wilson Garden, Bangalore

I like them for their persistence. My Nexon has superb steering and after making a U turn will come back perfectly to dead centre. After one service when tie rods were tightened (their version), it wasn't doing that anymore. And after a few trials the dealership gave up. I took it to Madhus, and the first two attempts did not bear fruit. In the third attempt, their very experienced manager got into the act - thoroughly inspected everything, manually tried few values on their computer and set it right. Four hours, gone but I was satisfied. Always been a big fan, for decades now

Re: Madhus Tyre Centre - Wilson Garden, Bangalore

Had been to Madhu's last Saturday to replace the tyres on my Father-In-Laws Alto.
We were suggested to go with Goodyear tyres. Overall happy with the service since it was quick and informative. The manager kept us updated all along about the progress.
Special thanks to the Technician (the one with ponytail) who worked on the replacement activity.

Re: Madhus Tyre Centre - Wilson Garden, Bangalore

Another satisfactory experience at Madhus yesterday when I went for a change to Michelin PS4s for my GTI. The stock Bridgestones were far from the end of their service life, but I felt the rubber had hardened quite a bit, resulting in a harsher ride, increased noise and reduced grip. I can live with the first two, but the last one was a bit of a concern as I am scheduled to do a highway drive very soon. Having read some good stuff about Michelin PS4, I thought I should get them for the GTI. Apparently, ever since the Covid crisis has hit us, Michelin imports are in short supply. Now with import restrictions on tyres, matters have only turned worse. Nikhil was kind enough to set aside a set for me. I was lucky to get one of the last sets of these tyres in 16"!

The new place is really fantastic. Approach is straight from the main road and a very wide entrance greets you. The working area is comfortably spaced. Great equipment, well trained and customer friendly staff, a posh well furnished air conditioned lounge all add up to a great experience as a customer.

I went to Madhus today around 12.45pm. Were you there around that time? I saw a gent take a snap of Road balance instrument screen

I got balancing and alignment done for my zest.
Ishwar took care of it. Very professionally done. Everything took about one hour. Agree with people's observation about the new place. Very good location and spacious.

I was there today with my punto, the new place is really spacious. Right now, for to the lockdown, there's plenty of parking and even if the crowd is more it'll be able to accommodate.

I did take a photo of the balancing machine display screen as the printout was not working.

Re: Madhus Tyre Centre - Wilson Garden, Bangalore

Looks like things are returning to "normal" in the new normal. I was here for a balancing and alignment routine after my front suspension overhaul on 10/09 and the place was buzzing with activity.
Even with the place full, it took about 45 minutes to drive out. The guys are absolutely awesome and know what to look out. One of my tyre had lower pressure due to a small leak and the guys found a nail which was the cause and fixed it promptly.
Another satisfied outing at this place.

Maybe I was lucky. Went this morning and was out in under 15mins.

Great service as usual and I love the new equipment.

Got new rubber for my Ritz. Put in 185/70 R14 Yokohoma Earth1 rubber for the car. Got wheel alignment done as well. Highly recommend Madhus tyre centre. Wonderful service. Some pics:

Re: Madhus Tyre Centre - Wilson Garden, Bangalore

The rims on my Brother in law's Wagon R was leaking air due to rusting. This was due to the coastal atmosphere and aggravated by their pet dog.
My nephew had to come down from Udupi for some official work for a day and I took this opportunity to replace these with alloys. A few messages later, we agreed upon the Neo alloy.
Today, we dropped down and got the alloys fixed with the customary Alignment and Balancing done. As always, it was an excellent experience with Mr. Mohsin overlooking the entire process right from the first message till the vehicle was delivered back to us.
Let some pictures do the talking now

Re: Madhus Tyre Centre - Wilson Garden, Bangalore

Cross posting from my ownership thread,

Tyre replacement was pending for a long time. I was looking out for Michelin 235/60/R17 (Stock size is 225/60/R17), but due to the recent import regulations, most of the dealers didn't have stock or were having 2-3 years old stock. Same with Pirelli too. I checked for Falcon and Yokohama BluEarth - RV02 as well but finally I decided on Yokohama Earth1 which is Made in India and easily available compared to others. It costed me 9K per tyre.

I also got the TPMS - SensAiry fitted along with these new tyres.

Here are the old tyres. Initial impression is, these tyres are way better than the Firestones. Eventhough Earth1 is said to be harder than BluEarth - RV02, its on the softer side and silent when compared to the stock Firestones.

And the new ones

Madhus has an automated sensor that detects the tread depth when we drive over it. Here is report of the same

Quick and neat work by Madhus. Also, met team-bhpian deepfreak15 who was there to get the alignment done for his Audi A3. Had a nice little chat .

Hi
Can you let me know the price paid for the Yoko Earth1 185/70 R14. I am planning for the same set.

Give them a call. They usually prefer you take an appointment if it's a Sunday.
