Tyre Dealer : Millivisions (Doddamavalli, Bangalore)

Tyre Dealer

Dealer Name = Millivisions Marketing Pvt Ltd
Location = Lalbagh

Dealer of all kinds of 2-wheeler and 4-wheeler performance tyres

Pros:

1) Offers Factory fresh tyres
2) Best prices compared to anyone in Bangalore (When it comes to actual buying)
3) Very flexible, even buys back old tyres at good prices
4) The Best price when it comes to exchanging tyres from a factory fresh car
5) Gives a proper bill on each purchase
6) All the company offers are not hidden, but passed on to customers, which many shops dont do.

Negatives:

1) He does not install them
2) Gets it done through Vijay Wheel alignment, Which is time consuming, But OK

A Honest tyre shop, with Honest prices, Introduced me through Lukeskywalker, also many T-BHP'ians go to him.

Always returned happy with the overall experience.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I agree. He's amongst the most competitive pricing I've seen. The only problem is he wont exchange your old tyres, and then again he doesnt fit the tyres as well.

My gripe with this store was

Quote:
1) He does not install them
2) Gets it done through Vijay Wheel alignment, Which is time consuming, But OK
Definitely recommended otherwise and pretty competitive pricing too.

True, Millivision marketing offers very competitive honest pricing, the director is Govind Kalra not Govindan, a knowledgeable individual who guides one in the requirements of tyres.

A definite negative is the lack of facilities to change or align tyres, also parking is an issue as the shop is situated at an awkward busy junction.

Bought tyres twice from him and he offers a good price for buy back of OEM tyres.
The only part which i did not like is that his tie up with Vijay Alignment for change and alignment as they are very bad in doing it.

Yep I do agree with the members here.
I have brought tyres twice from Millivisions. It was all a good experience. Best price for tyres.
Heck today I'm going to buy 2 more tyres for my CITY from him.

You forgot me!

This was the first stop right after taking my Safari (and the fuel bunk visit). Traded in the OEM tires for the Michellins that I currently run.

Got a good travel bag as a freebie.

Got tires for my pal's swift.. the prices quoted by Mr Govindan was the best in Bangalore. More over he is courteous and tries to answer all your queries with patience.
This place is more like a storeroom than a tire shop. Nice place, I will go back to him again.

Re: Tyre Dealer : Millivisions (Doddamavalli, Bangalore)

Very Honest and simple guy and for sure knows what he is selling.
I got set of 4 Yoko db V550 and Yoko A drive for the spare. All in 15".

Got the best price when compared to other dealers i enquired with.

He listens to what your requirements are from the rubber change and comes up with suggestions, however the final decision left to the buyer.

I would recommend this place.

By the way, i am amazed to see what change of rubber and upsizing does to the car in terms of comfort, cornering, braking ability and noise reduction.

Heard that you have to get the fitment, alignment, balancing done at some other place(vijay alignment). How much do they charge you for the fitting?AFAIK tire shops do the fitting/alignment for free if you purchase tires from them.Is the cost difference between other dealers and millivision still less if you consider these factors too?(I mean the overall cost)

For fitment, i went to some other shop, the owner was a friend's friend. Got a very sweet deal for my existing stock tyres and rims. 5 stock JK in 14" with steel rims (ran for 6500 Kms), fetched me 8000/-..!!!

The cost for fitting and balancing and another steel wheel of 15" (in 98 PCD), painting of brake calipers in chrome, filling of nitrogen in 5 wheels costed 1500/- so over all was cost of new tyres was 16500/-(23000 - 6500).
