Yup for the Laura. Thanks, This is Rosso Brunello color.

I need to fix the doorpads anyway.
Will decide on seat cover based on my mood that day . Thinking of going for Dark burgandy color for seat, as this will match the exterior color or may stick to the default beige.

Fixed the door pad and seat cover for Laura. Went for OEM color and pattern.
As mentioned by others in the thread, wonderful workmanship.

Re: Seat Covers: Imperial INC (Bangalore)

I have used their services in the past, and have had lot of friends come down from various cities/towns to get their seat covers done up by Imperial Leathers.
I had got my Safari's seat covers done up by them sometime back. I don't leave my vehicle unattended at any point of time, and so sat inside their factory in the opposite building looking at their work.

One technician in particular was handling the seats and the plastic trims in a very harsh manner. He was working on the driver's seat. By the time I could speak to him, he had already broken a couple of plastic clips and parts. Looked like he was on a mission to ruin the plastics and the threads, hammering away things to glory, and pulling apart things by brute force. The threads on the arm rest's nuts were completed ruined. The seat base measurement (according to their template) was goofed up and they added some more material to botch it up, which has come off completely now. I took this up with Shiva, the owner and he promised me that he will address the issue. I left it at that, thinking its a one-off incident.

Recently, another friend who drove from Kerala to get his Nexon's seats done with Imperial had the same issue. I had already warned him about his chap and requested him to have a word with the owner to assign someone else to work on his seats. Alas, seat frame/clips/trims are scratched badly and damaged.
I don't think I will be going back to them, unless the owners ensure that their technicians don't ruin things.

Here's some pics of the damage on the Safari.

Re: Seat Covers: Imperial INC (Bangalore)

Update:

Imperial Leather folks connected with me and requested me to come down. I was there this weekend, and the owner was very apologetic for the damage. He wanted to clean up the damage. I appreciate them for being honest and forthcoming to have accepted their mistake, own it up, and wanting to correct it, which is a rare quality these days.
The driver seat was removed and the base re-done completely. The owner had sourced the clips and plastic trims from TASS. I am happy with the outcome.

Re: Seat Covers: Imperial INC (Bangalore)

Hello all
I have lower back ache and need some extra lumber support for drivers seat.

Not keen on purchasing extra lumber support from Amazon. Does these guys insert some sort of soft material to increase lumber support and for seat base as well?

Thought of calling them directly but since tomorrow is Sunday, i didn't want to disturb their weekend.

If any of you have experience in above modification, please advise. Should I go with this mod or should I go with additional lumber support available at Amazon?

Opted for their grade 2 material, since that's the one which matches the interior. Door pad finished in pure leather. Total cost 15k.

Re: The Dashcam / Car Video Recorder (DVR) Thread

Need help, anyone has first hand experience of fitting seat covers from Saddle, Bangalore?. They're OEM for many car companies and do the good work. They're giving 2 years warranty for the seat covers where as Imperial leathers is offering 5 years for the same material/cost.

Re: Seat Covers: Imperial INC (Bangalore)

Has anyone managed to get rear adjustable headrests added for the Hyundai Creta lower models from this place?
I'll be travelling to Bangalore for seat covers next month and my tall relatives could use some head rest that's usable.

From what I know, Imperial is into seat covers, and not head-rests. You could still call him and check

Re: Seat Covers: Imperial INC (Bangalore)

All, I want to share the work done by Imperial Leathers on my 2017 new gen Verna last week.

I got the reference of Mr Shiva from T-BHP and all the discussions happened over the call. He was very prompt to let me know options available and the costing for each. We have 3 options to choose from Regular PU leather, Napa and Montano quality before you move to Genuine Leather.

He gave me all the available designs from his side over whatsapp, you can check the work here

https://flic.kr/p/2izCNAZ

I chose the Montano quality seat cover for my Car and i must say i am satisfied with the work done by the team. The car was dropped off at around 11-45 AM and the work got completed by 2 PM.

Mr Shiva gave me a walkthrough at their factory which is opposite the shop where all the work happens and he runs a clean setup.

The product comes with a 3 year warranty and i hope to see these last long.

Attaching few images, please feel free to message me for any other queries.

I recommended Imperial Leathers for their work. Thank you Forum for suggesting.

Good seat covers for Rapid in Bangalore

Hi,

Am looking to get seat covers for my Skoda Rapid Carbon Steel car. I live near the Yeshwanthpur area. Enquired 1 shop (as suggested by friend as they do solid work) but their price quoted seemed much high. I was going for a mixed seat fabric option whereby the places that cover actual seating are of Leather and the remaining parts of cover as the 'fake leather' (forgot it's technical term) and they quoted 27K for it. Paying 27K for seat covers felt a little high to me. I was told that the prices increased after the lockdown.

Are there any other good shops in Bangalore I can explore around for seat covers?

More importantly, is pure leather even a required investment? One of my primary use cases of the car is a 4 hour trip to my hometown. Trips longer than that would be rare like once in a quarter. Can I go for some other fabric?

Thanks, will check this out. Distance should not be a concern, it is a 1 time trip. As long as the end product is good, am ready to drive even 50kms for it
