Thanks for the invite gpa, but I already got mine done. Got it done from Stanleys' though. Surprisingly Stanleys' were offering a better price for me (Rs2000 for the 1.6 scandinavian leather steering cover, compared to 2800 for similar leather at Karlssons), and they were closer to my office.

Not a problem. Can you PM me the contact number of someone at Stanley where you got this done? And where exactly are they located?

Thanks,
gpa

Re: Leather Car upholstery - Karlsson (Bangalore)

I visited Karlsson on Friday and came back very impressed. Sajith is a really nice person, and we spent almost an hour just chatting! Have made an appointment for Tuesday to change the seats on my Baleno to Black Art Leather with black stitching, and also the Door Pads to Black Genuine Leather. He also mentioned a cover for the hand brake as a value add on so looking forward to that!

Will update with pics later on in the week once the job is done.

Cheers.

Re: Leather Car upholstery - Karlsson (Bangalore)

Just a quick update...

Left the car today at Karlsson's in the morning by around 11.30, got a call by 6 saying it was ready and picked it up by 7.30. Trust me guys, the work done here is really very special, and they have got an awesome thing going. Although its dark and so I have not had the chance to inspect it in the light, as far as I can see the finishing on the seats is absolutely brilliant. I got a leather keychain and the compartment between the 2 front seats covered as a throw in.

Mr Santhosh and Mr Suresh were exceptionally kind, they even waited for 30mins after their closing time as I was running late.

Please PM me if you would like to know prices. My recommendation so far is a 10/10 go for it. Please mention Team-BHP and also me (Sachin with the Baleno) if you wish.

Cheers.

I completely agree with you .. Mr. Sajith is a real nice person to talk to. Had taken my Verna (fluidic) to him last year from Hyderabad for seat covers. I did not secure an appointment with him before going and he had couple of cars scheduled, so couldn't get the seat covers done then. But I enjoyed talking to him for around 30 minutes or so. Planning to get the seat covers done this time when I drive to Bangalore again !!

Deepak, excellently done interiors. Do they have scandinavian leathers in other colours? I was looking for something in a tan colour similar to what I've attached here. I love beige, but can't risk the stains. And definitely no black!

Hey Memphes,
They sure do! They have a very wide range of colour options available.
I even saw something in silver!
So, yes. They should have this colour available.
Cheers,
Deepak

You can get in touch with Jvalant Sampat. Had spoken to him earlier for seats on my swift but dropped the idea.

Have sent a pm with his no.

35K. It took one whole day to complete the work up to the satisfaction. Material is 1.5mm Scandinavian leather. This looks good if you have a light tint on your glass

That is pretty awesome indeed. Can't get enough of the pics . Too bad 35k is a bit steep, but I am sure its worth every penny.
