Re: Leather Upholstery - Marvin Genuine Leather (Bangalore)

Zenster - Love the interiors of your Punto. Nice detailed writeup as well. Will be getting my BNW Punto in a few days & am seriously tempted to get a similar steering grip done immediately

Is it difficult to maintain the light colour of the seats ?

Thanks buddy, glad you liked the work.

Maintenance is not a headache at all. I've been using this combination for more than a month now and I cleaned the seats (myself) this past weekend. I have a 3yr old at home who loves to jump around and eat in the car, so bearing all that in mind, I think a quick 10min work was enough to get them back to shining-new. As recommended, I used Amway Leather cleaner and its an amazing product too.

All in all (two thumbs-up).

Hope this helps.

Sorry for bumping an old thread up! Stumbled upon one of the gallery images of the upholstery work on the Punto and was directed here.

Zenster, would like to know how the PU seats and the leather bits on the gear knob, steering wheel and door pads are holding up now. It has been 3 years.

Are there any cracks, wrinkles or stretch marks on the seats? Do the seats get heated up during summers very soon? Say, if you have the car parked under the sun. If it isn't too much to ask, could you post a few snaps of the front and rear seats please?

Any other observations/feedback would be welcome.

TIA!
