My grandfather had travelled to Russia in the 1960s and 1970s, and would bring back many stamps for my mother. While browsing through them I came across this one of a bike.

Eddie Rickenbaker though an aviation pioneer also built a car called, naturally, Rickenbacker, in America. His logo was taken from his squadron, a top hat in a ring. These cars are quite rare, one was rumoured to be in India but I have never seen it. All the cars were sporting coupes.

Nice stamps.
Here is a nice little car, very cute and ideal for sea side resorts. A Fiat Jolly, derived from a Fiat 600.

This is Rudolf Diesel, inventor of the diesel engine. It was named after him.

Interesting pair of stamps.
Traffic week in the gulf, automobile related. They should have this every month, going by the exotic cars they thrash regularly.
In 1973, the stamp was issued by UAE, in 1975 it was the State Of Qatar.

Some more stamps,
a British one on Sir Malcolm Campbell in his land speed record machine, and
a German one, from Berlin, of 1990, so before the reunification on Wellbeing-welfare care, the vehicle shown is an Electric Parcel Van of around 1930.
