Here is one we already had in the Registry, but now we have a photo. It is for sale right now for 32K Euros (!) At least we now have a photo. Serial No. 4599096 and it has a carbureted engine:

Peter Teuffel bought this car in France in 2012 and sent its number to me today:

We already had this car registered by Carrosserie number only, but now the VIN is confirmed.

Today I got a list of all Peugeots that have ever been registered in the State of Washington USA, 2880 cars in all. Among these are four 404 Cabriolets. 2 of these are already registered: one is now in Oregon and the other is in Australia!

The other 404 Cabriolets are:

Total: 1715 !

The State of Florida kindly gave to me a list of all 404s in their jurisdiction, and among them, there are two 404 C cars to add to the Registry:

It turns out that "4599422" is actually 4592922, which was already registered in 1992, so the total is actually only 1726 after all. We will find more, don't worry!
