Huge Load of NOS VW and Audi parts found in Paraguay

In a dusty warehouse on the outskirts of Asuncion, capital of Paraguay, three German parts experts from Audi Tradition and Volkswagen Classic found a huge stash of NOS VW and Audi parts. The local importer Deisa SA founded in 1953 had stock piled these parts thinking that there will be huge demand for them but as usual Beetles were so well made there was hardly any requirement for parts .Moreover in those days nine months was shipping time from Germany to South America .Now these parts are being shipped back to Germany to be tested , documented and sold to classic car enthusiasts. Well, looking at the pics. none of them parts look like they date from 1953 or even a decade after that! They infact look like parts for 80s/90s cars. Just that the importer may have existed since 1953.

This is the list of parts put up on VW Heritage site . The text is in German but part numbers can be deciphered .
