More pictures and details are available on the Net. The Vespa name got carried on from there though it is built for a Lambretta.

@ john_a_ville/rajive - Thanks for sharing those snaps. they look really great!!

Vespa has recently relaunched scooters in India... they call it premium scooters which I think are bit over priced.
