I visited Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation in Dearborn suburban Detroit Michigan early this week. The tour also included the Ford Rouge Factory tour where the F150 truck is manufactured.
Every 54 seconds 1 F150 truck is rolled out from the assembly plant!
F150
The Rouge Factory has a living roof which helps to regulate the temperature inside the Factory.
As a matter of privacy taking photos inside the Factory is prohibited. They show 2 movies at the beginning one is about Henry Ford and the other is about how they manufacture the F150!
As I visited the next day of Easter Sunday the Factory was not yet re opened for production after the Easter and Good Friday weekend. Hence I missed out on seeing the production of the F 150 in 54 seconds.
The Museum is just amazing with historical cars trains planes cycles and even telephones!
I will upload the pictures below of the Henry Ford Museum.
Must have been an awesome experience sameer.
Really enjoyed the pictures and especially loved the Desoto with those beautiful fins at the back.
And the Goldenrod was cool too. In fact it had 4 Hemi motors clap: placed together unlike the land speed record cars of today that use Jet engines.
Awesome mate!!!!!!
Cheers!!!!!
Thread moved from the Assembly Line to the Classic Car Section. Thanks for sharing!
