This is a place in Båstnäs in Sweden with tonnes of old cars. It started out as a place to get used spare parts for Norwegians. There used to be about 1500 cars there, the oldest ones from the 1930s. Today there are about 800 spread out in the woods.

This place has become a tourist attraction and known all over the world. There are lots of gems there. You can Google "bilkirkegaarden i Sverige" for more pictures.

The number of reasons for visiting Scandinavia just keep on increasing. You need at least a month of vacation to appreciate the beauty of the region. Thanks for sharing this India2003. For some reason I find these pictures very heartwarming.

There was another classic graveyard, which I heard was cleaned up recently. It was the Chatillion car graveyard in Belgium. They say the cars were left behind by North American army personals after the war when they all returned back home.
