May be a replica of Xk120. The originals sell for $100k- 200k and won't be parked in a lot like that IMO.

mayavi you would be suprised to see exotics in a parking lot abroad. jay lenno had taken his bugatti veyron to buy grocery from a super market and the picture of him getting into the car with the bags was in a magazine.
you only have the fuss created in india where people tend to fiddle with the cars. i take my cars out and park them at parking lots if i have to buy something. a certain paper owner parks his cars outside on the road while he is at work.
the cars might cost 100k- 200k but at the end of the day they are cars and you bought them to enjoy them and take them where ever you please not lock them up and turn them into show pieces.

The jaguar sure is sweet. I'd love to see Jaguar become what they were once upon a time.

Now they're just pimpmobiles. I saw one with Hoop D's on it the other day & almost died.

not only the jaguars but also rolls royces, bentleys etc are being turned into pimpmobiles. it is called exclusivity in todays terms . man i hate those guys.

I know I know, I myself used to park my chaar hazaar gaadi next to a chaar laaakh Maybach 62 at work. I don't know why but the more I look at this car, the more I think it is a replica. How can one differentiate between a replica and original?

the easiest way to differenciate a replica from the original is seeing the meters in the car the steering wheel (sometimes the original steering wheel is put). you could also see the lights. the interiors of the car also would be more plush then the original one. if you get to see the engine you would know the difference. there would also be modern amnities in the replica. wheels of the car can also tell you.

Nope, the Jags an XK 140, see the waistline and large bumper combo, which differentiates it from the 120 and 150.

i still feel it is an xk150 cause the bumpers are the same as the xk140, the waistline also looks the same karl. but i have no reason to doubt you as you must have studied it well.

Here you go, a 150 and the car in question, the waistlines are clearly not the same.
