This Jaguar 1969 XKE 4.2 Litre Series 1 1/2 was what I drove in Oxford, Mississippi. Owner couldn't decide whether to drive this or the Z3!

David Taylor's Vintage Car Museum in Galveston Tx, USA

Here are a few pictures that I had taken in 93-94 when I visited the David Taylor's Vintage Car Museum in Galveston, Tx, USA. If I can remember well, amongst all the vintages in the collection, there was a 1941 Lincoln Continental which was in factory paint and mint condition.
Hope you enjoy the pictures.

Well I dont know about pictures of the cars but I definately enjoyed pictures of you as "Captain Haddock". Cheers.

On a serious note. Do you have any brochures of the museum that you may have collected during the period, If so can you scan and post them. I am doing research on floor plans of automotive museums.

I will also try to put up plans of all the museums I have been to.

Good one, Rony as Captain Haddock! Both are Mariners as well!!

Talking of your research on auto museums Amol, are you in touch with the folks behind the ones coming up in India - Mr. Titus' in Delhi, Mr. Thukral's in NCR and Doc's in Bangalore?

Here is a pic of the lovely book I got at the Volvo museum It traces the whole history of the P1800 I did see some 1:43 scale model cars there too, made by NOREV and by some other Chinese company. They frankly weren't too great and they were ruinously expensive. They also had a great book on Volvo Station Wagons but I chose not to buy it. Each book weighs a ton, apart from the cost and lugging such weight is a pain.. International Car Galleries/ Museums /factories-image3421998010.jpg

Lincoln Motor Car Heritage Museum

Set for a grand opening at Hickory Corners, Michigan, USA on August 9th 2014 - an apt tribute to the iconic marque:
