I loved the bulkiness of Packard. On the Ferrari, is that the speedo on the centre? So was 80Mph the top speed during 50's? Also could someone explain the purpose of springs on the spoke wheels on Ferrari pls?

No,if you see carefully at the bottom there is a " *100" sign so thats the rev/tachometer.

It looks like a 1954 Ferrari 500 Mondial Series 1 car.
I hope I am right, all the earlier Ferrari sports prototypes look almost the same stupid:

I think this model didn't come equipped with speedometer or maybe I couldn't locate it :p
