Each to its own. It is certainly unusual. It is a classic model, but modified of course. Although I would not consider myself a true purist when it comes to classic cars, on the whole I do prefer the original classic. Modifications if anything should not be visible (e.g. installing proper brakes might be very useful on some classics)
