Hi,
I am not sure if this is the right thread to post in, if not, please move to appropriate thread or delete.
This picture was taken by my aunt in the late 80's in New York, where there was some kind of an Indian parade.

This could be clicked at the annual republic day parade that happens during the weekend closest to 26th Jan a tradition in New York for a long time. I wonder if the Rolls Royce had a Indian Link. Nice picture though.

Those cars are Studebaker Larks.
Found these lovely pictures from late 1970 posted by Lou Wilson on Google Plus. He undertook a road journey from Germany to India via. Turkey, Greece and West Asia commencing October 1970. The trip from London to India took a three and a half months.
Some of the pictures by Lou Wilson:

I took this picture on one of our drives through the Kansas prairies. It's near a little village called Alma. It is on a beautiful drive called skyline road that takes you right across the prairies.
But you could pick up similar scenes just about anywhere in the US. For some reason they just dump their old cars in a big heap.

A few pictures from the years around 1910. What I love about them is the clarity.
All are great shots with the main streets of major towns in the USA.
Have renamed them as per location, city and event, if specified (like Easter Day), and the year. A mouse-over should reveal it.
A few more, credits (as per watermark) with Shorpy and some with the Detroit Free Press.
Please identify the cars. Even in the earlier pictures. Thanks.
