I'd suggest the BNB or Thule racks depending on budget. BNB should be in the 5-6k range.

We actually have a quote slightly cheaper than the rack rate for this.
I have seen this hauling 3 cycles on someone's car in my vicinity, but don't know the actual feedback, that's why asking the forum for experience.
Why spend a K or more, more, when this can do at least 2 cycles with ease (apparently!)?

Can I use Pril/Diesel as a degreaser for the chains. I got the Chain Cleaner tool from Aliexpress, however I do not want to splurge on the expensive bike specific degreasers. I saw people using "Simple Green" in several YouTube videos, is it available in India. I am planning to use "Finish Line Dry Lube" as a lubricant.

Yes you can use Pril/Diesel as a degreaser but clean the chain thoroughly after degreasing. Regarding the lube have used the Finish line dry lube and they are good,at present using Squirt lube and I find it better than the Finish line one & should be available in some shops in Pune or can contact Ensign sports on FB they are the distributors https://www.facebook.com/pages/Ensig...90825394305005

Simple green is in India. Contact Joy Rising Hobby, Chennai. I use it all the time to clean my RC stuff, bikes, tiles, my chimney filters and lot of other applications. I use Finish line wet and Squirt Dry.

Well the frame is from Time a French company(kind of niche builders only 4000 frames are built in a year with in house carbon weaving & the bikes are built by women),groupset Shimano Ultegra 6800 with FIR wheels(an Italian brand).

Pril is less favored than Diesel or Kerosene. I have used Pril in the past for ease of sourcing/storage with a toddler around.

Get the wet lube. It stays on longer and I'm not a racer that I'll be able to percieve the benefits of the ceramic or red dry lube!

I prefer the dry lube even during rainy season as the wet lube gunks up the drivetrain.

I had gone through the thread but was a bit confused. Even I feel Diesel is a better degreaser, but they say it is too harsh. We used it on our good ol BSA SLR's and the street cats and it worked perfectly fine . Thanks for your suggestions.

Diesel may not be ideal for components.
Infact I don't recommend use of degreasers regularly as they tend to get into the bearings and wash them out. I use them them sparingly and only when the junk build up is high.

I prefer dry lube as they do not attract dust like wet lube. Squirt works fine.

Finally got my Montra Blues 2015 hybrid, after reading posts in this forum and weighing the pros and cons. Initial impression is good, will need to be breaking in after some regular rides but son has given up his Hercules Rodeo and won't leave the new entrant in house. One year- or 1500/2000km. Whichever is earlier.

Service it during the rains once though. Rains really can bugger up the gears- if right precautions aren't taken.
