10k, 25k options are also available for weak people

Man!! First they said, 50K, then reduced to 36 for the amateurs. Then they blocked the road forcing eveyone to take U turn in the 12.5 K, i.e. 26Km (including the 1Km from start line till it meets the finish line). That is cheating :( I didn't even know that I was making U turn for the 25K one and realized that I couldn't have done 36Km within one hour. Later when I heard from a lot of people who had trip meters that it was 26K, not 36K.

I did 26Km in 59 mins 33 secs though.

Agree with Opendro. I was under the impression that I was in for 36K as revised, but I guess they had over shot the time for Elite riders and hence cut every other category without informing the participants. That's bad.

However, it's good to know that there are quite a few cycling enthusiasts in Bangalore. I guess that's one way to reduce traffic and pollution in already over crowded Bangalore.

Note that the ride was not on plane road. It was a continously gradual climb and down and thus it was difficult to get a good average speed. BTW, I take my cycle to work most of the time, though I find quite tempting to take my Linea.

Hi Folks

Another cyclothon is coming up for all Bangaloreans. Columbia Asia is organizing a cyclothon on the 1st of May. It's going to be a 10 km cyclothon from Kanteerva Stadium to Columbia Asia Yeshwanthpur.
