Hi,

I am in the process of buying new a Tata Altroz (P) XT. The accessories' person in the showroom suggested me to take a few accessories for the car. Of them, I was pondering on below 3 which would cost Rs 9500.
1) Anti-Rust Underbody coating recommended by Tata
2) Front Bumpers
3) Body Side (Door) chrome moulding

Need a word of advice that should I do it from the showroom or look outside or skip partly or all?

Seems reasonable to me.
Also check if you are getting basic things like foot-mats and mud flaps.

Tata is selling the front bumpers as accessory? That's news to me. Surely there must be a typo here. Is it front bumper garnish for the chrome thing? If so, then suggest to get it from Tata itself if you really like it. Alternatively if rear sensors or camera, TPMS are available you can opt for that instead of the Chrome blings.

It should be front sensors (Rs 4500), Anti-Rust Underbody coating recommended by Tata (Rs 2600) and Body Side (Door) chrome moulding (Rs 2900) - all for Rs 9500 inclusive of labour charge.

Is there an updated list of must have accessories similar to the one provided by GTO at the beginning of this thread? Looking for an updated one considering the change in scene over the last decade. If accessories which are good for long road trips can also be included, that would be great. As always, any link (to Amazon etc) for the accessories that can be provided would be much appreciated.

I've made a booking for Tata Altroz XZA+ DCA in Royal Blue colour. Expecting delivery in another 10 days. Already started a thread in the Assembly Line with guidance from GTO. Will try to cover everything related to my purchase and share the long term term reviews as well.
