6th character is month, here it is 'A' so it is January, 10th character is year and here it is 'E' which is 2014.

Thanks B747. But I was hoping I'll get a little more info. The websites provide only basic information. Is there any way I can find out the specific model and colour? I just want to make sure the dealer is not bluffing. With Skoda you just can't be too careful.

0 and O are NOT used from what I understand to avoid confusion. Seems I'll have to check back. Could be D as you mentioned.
