Hi Wildon, thanks for your prompt response. The insurance papers mention the year of manufacture as 2011 whereas your finding is the car was made in 2010: can the insurance info be wrong, and if so what is the implication?

Also, does the VIN refer to assembly month/year in India or whenever the parent company made the CKDs?

check the Form-21 and 22 and see what the manufacturer declared info.
