I did already but it said March 2011, it's a white TSi.
Are TSIs always this old?

No they are not. When I bought one in May this year and my car was March manufactured. In fact I just checked the VIN of my car and find it is exactly the same as the one you have provided, just that it ends with 685 instead of 793 :)

TSIs are slow movers, but I would be a bit uncomfortable if the production month is more than three months prior to the delivery month.

Yeah, even I am a bit uncomfortable right now. Thankfully, fogs are there. Bit unsure now.

I had actually rejected the first car they had offered me. That was Dec 2010 mfd and did not have fog lamps. I was uncomfortable with the Dec date but eventually the missing fogs made it easy for me to reject. I told them I am getting one with fogs with the other dealer. TIll then they were singing the "fogs discontinued" tone with me. It was only when I told them about my intentions to go with other dealer, they told me that they will give me a 'fresh piece' . You won't believe, but they told me that Skoda has restarted fogs on the TSI and my car is the first one to get fogs after they had restarted fitting them :uncontrol

Could you please decode this VIN for me. It is a TATA Safari. VIN is MAT403715BNP16170

My Beats actually MA6BFBM2BBT086748 (error from the dealer), doesnt change the month & yr of manufacturing though.

NO INFO AS OF NOW

Hi Wildon,

Need your help. This is a Hyundai vehicle but has only 17 characters in the VIN instead of the 19 characters as you have advised in your initial posts.

Could you please help decode this -

MALCU41UMBM044762

Many thanks in advance.

Cheers

Thanks Wildon :)

Is there any calculation which you do for arriving at the data or u get it from somewhere. Just curious if you can share the information.

cheers

The VIN number on my Vista VX is: MAT611450BPN95245.

I could decode 2011, but the 12th character is N which does not stand for anything. What's the month Wildon. I took the car in December.

Hey Wildon, can you please decode the following VIN:

MALCU41ULBM046044L

Its for a friend's Verna.

Thanks in advance.
