Hi Wildon,

Could you decode the following VIN # MAKDD174LBN00265, this is for a Honda Brio. I am quite keen to know the exact manufacturing date. Would it be possible to get the detailed pdf report for the same. Thanks in advance.

I will be getting my Skoda Fabia in 2 days. The VIN number I got is:
TMBFKJ5J4BG024940
I found that the month of manufacture is September and year is 2011, plant- pune.
Please help me get more details.

I've booked a Vento Highline TDi. The dealer has said that this is the VIN number allocated to me :WVWJ11601CT008691. Would appreciate it a lot if you could get me more details.

I understand the vehicle was assembled in August 2011.

Please help with decoding the Ford Figo 1.4 EXI Trim Vin.

If I enter this Vin number in the wesite you gave in earlier posts, it says wrong VIN number.

But going by the logic you have given in the first page, i understand it as Nov 2011 manufactured vehicle.

From your inputs, i inferred it's a October 2011 model (BEAT DIESEL), shall I go ahead with the registration, as it's already 2 months, (sandrift grey colour) when i enquired with the dealer, he said normally they get models with one month delay i.e October manufactured model in November etc., He sais since its a new model no issues at all and if i need a new model, i need to pay extra money, as the prices are increased.

KMS in ODO - 12 KMS.

PLEASE ADVICE. Vehicle is ok except rusting in wheel nuts and he said its normal during rainy season as the vehicle was in yard.

Hi Wildon/All, I am contemplating to bring home Fiat Grande Punto 1.2 Petrol Active (BN White) and the VIN# MCA11815DXXXXXXXXDMZ which from what I gathered from our forum that car is of April 2011 make..... I had told the Salesperson that this is not acceptable and I would expect a vehicle manufactured not more than 2 months earlier max...... I am availing the year end offers [10K Cash+3500 RSA+Free Insurance], I have though given the Booking Amount of 10K to Concorde Dairy Circle, BLR.

Now the Salesperson's team-lead has approached me telling that he only has this car and even in FIAT's inventory there are no cars for the year 2011. He said he can offer me additional discounts... I had earlier asked for accessories like body colored door handles/mirrors, door sil+Punto Pillows, Standard Accesories.... Now I have additionally asked for Autocop Remote Locking sys + 50% on Music System with 4 speakers (~13K)

Please guide so as to what should be done next. Should I go ahead with booking , is it advisable to buy a April 2011 make car in Dec 2011? Were there any significant under the hood changes beyond Apr"2011 till now?

If you found the vehicle is ok after PDI then proceed. 2month is OK.
