Hey Wildon!

Much Thanks for the valuable addition to Team-BHP community.

I am about to buy a Polo 1.6 and there are three VINs given to me by the SA. Would you be able to send me car data on the following?

WVWE11605BT060714.

From your OP, I figured this one is the May 2011 Manufactured Polo. Just wanted to get a complete car data on this since out of the three VINs she gave this seems the latest car that I can get (based on ascending numbers).

I have booked a TATA Grande 8 seater BS4

The VIN number they gave me is :MAT465015B9K31122

Please help me understand this with regards to the manufacturing details.

What did you do finally?
I am in a similar situation. M offered a May 2011 model 1.3 90HP grande punto.

Not sure whether to go for this or not.

Hi Wildon, All,

FIAT GRANDE PUNTO - MCA1134D07029457EMZ

Looks like 1 digit is missing.

The car looks like a may 2011 model.

At the time of booking the dealer (prerana motors, bangalore) had promised a Nov model.
I am not sure what to do now as the car is about 7 months old. Also, the fact that if i dont take this car, i would loose out on the discount (insurance + discount) and also I heard that there would be a price hike in the cars of Jan 2012 models onwards.

Pls advice.

Hi Wildon,

I am trying to find out the month of manufacture for an i20 model.

The chasis number given is malvb51blbm350526 , it is only 17 digits, the article i read say i need 19 digits to know the month of manufacturing.

Can you please let me know what is the month of manufacturing.
