I guess 'EEC 96' means Euro 2.

The site I tried shows May 2011 as manufactured date, but the seller(individual) insists the date of dispatch as 23.12.2011(can it be after 7months?)

What is wrong here, am I missing something, or is he taking me for a ride?

Could anyone whose aware about this throw some light in this.
