Hi,

I booked a Bronzo Tan Fiat Linea TJet 125s last week. Dealer has provided me with the below VIN -

MCA11061209040334HGZ

Engine number - 1918965

It translates to Aug-2016 make, while manager was telling me its a Sep-Oct make as per their records.

Can someone advice if Aug 2016 make is good enough for a low selling model or should I insist for a newer version? Dealer says that this is the latest that they have.

It's a Renault Duster 2014 model as per claims.
When I downloaded an app called VIN DECODER, It says Renault Logan 2014.

I got this VIN number from a sticker on the car on the left rear C pillar window.

I have the same doubt too. The car was registered in January 2014 and the VIN which I find on the sticker says this hence my confusion.
Attaching the Sticker for better clarity. I couldnt get to check the VIN on the body itself.
Something about this car is fishy.

The sticker also mentions a "trim in date" of 08-10-2014, lending credence to the Oct 2014 decoded date. Was the car actually registered in Jan 2015, but due to new year blues it was entered as 2014 incorrectly? Any chance you can get the insurance paperwork for Jan 2015-Jan 2016, and see if it mentions that it is the first year (i.e. no previous insurer).
