What do I bring in from Bangkok

Hi Friends, need your help here. I am going to Bangkok in February and want to get something for my City ZX VTEC. I currently have an
Alpine (OE fitment) H.U,
Rockford Fosgate components in the front (RF X152S),
lightning Audio 6.5'' Co-ax (B1.65.2) at the back,
a Kicker 10" Comp vx Sub and
a Sony XM 504 ,4 chanel amp.

I have 15k to spend on ICE in Bangkok, what do you suggest I buy. Any idea which would be a good Monoblock within 6-7 k Thai bhats?

Spend 50k. Find a B16A or B16B off a wrecked Civic. Forget ICE, get HOT!!!

The weakest link in this system is the Amp but make sure you get orignail stuff. Bangkok is notorious for duplicates.

For 15K an Alpine 450 or 345 would be my choice. I would bridge it to power the front and use the Sony 504 to power the subs and rear.

just a little curious - why should i bridge an Alpine 450, If I am right it is a 4 channel amp. Why cant i power the front and rear using this Amp and bridge the XM 504 to power the Sub? Dont know much about car audio's and hence excuse me if this sounds wierd.

Normally, if the HU is an OE fitment, then it would just be an entry level HU. I think you should upgrade the HU to a mid end or a high end. For 15k you can get the higher end one's from Alpine, Pioneer and other brands. But I would recommend sticking to the first two.

Or if the sound if the current HU is good enough for you, then you can upgrade the amps to better one's depending on the choice available there. But for 15k you will not get two high powered amps from brands like Alpine or Pioneer or Kenwood.

Buddy as Navin said.. "The weakest link in this system is the Amp but make sure you get orignail stuff. Bangkok is notorious for duplicates"
I thought i bought Original Momo Racing Gear Knobs and Steering Wheel for original rates.. but while getting it fixed.. my friends told me about it being Fake!! and Trust me it hurts when you come to know that you bought some thing fake for a killa rate..
Just make sure its original before buying something.. ( Actually ANYTHING!! ) it's Bangkok.

the 504 is a 4 channel amp. so when you bridge all 4 channels you get 2 channels but you have only 1 sub and you cant bridge channels that are already a product of bridged channels.

so bridge 2 channels of the 504 to drive the sub. use the other 2 to drive the rear and use the 450 in bridge mode to drive the front making for a nice soundstage in the front.

I use a Blau Velocity and GTA amp in this fashion in my wife's car. the GTA feed the sub and rear.

Thanks Navin, makes sense now. Do you know of any dealer in Bangkok who has a better reputation? Do I save a lot of money by buying it in Bangkok
