Yeah the speakers in this car sucks and since there are no warranty issues, you can definitely go for a change. I had installed a sub woofer some time back. I was not too sure if I wanted to sub in the car but the guy said try it for couple of days and if u don't like it, get it back. Fortunately for me on the third day, the woofer developed some problem and I decided not to replace it. But now I am again getting an urge to install it. Any recommendations ? |

Good lord Subodh! You just dont stop, where it comes to music, do you? Dont get the sub. The one failed, is an indicator enough. The way it sounds now, is pretty good. In case you really want to, why not that second one we had tried that time. Dont remember the make now. |

He hadnt paid for the woofer. It was on a trial basis. So, the decision was to NOT replace it. How do I know? Well, I was present when the work was done! |

Well I'm no expert in these matters, so can't really give you any recommendations. But I generally keep it simple. For me the current speakers are do-able. Enough for my current requirements. I'm more interested in the engine (mods) than the music system for now. Once I have had enough of the car (which is highly doubtful :D), I'll start exploring the music options. @swanand, I doubt if it works like that. With music systems, I have always found it's either a yes or no. Btw if you need another guy to help try & decide among the various choices, I'm all ears :D |

But another way I can do it is run the 2 components on same channels and install sub in remaining channel. The trade off in this kind of situation is that I lose on the fader feature but at the same time, |
