A-GPS and GPRS are not related. You can navigate having both or none!
If it has A-GPS, then typically it will download data (not the maps but other satellite info) over a internet conenction. GPRS can be one of the internet connections (not sure if RTab supports other ways of connecting to internet).
Is you use google maps it will need a internet connection for the maps. Again GPRS or any other way of conencting to internet could be used.
