What ICE & @ What Price

hello bhpians, a friend of mine was trying to upgrade his existing ICE setup, i suggested him to have a look at this section. having sifted through various threads for days together, he is still not able to arrive at a final setup. (for example, he is able to identify a good HU, component speakers and a SW, but unable to decide how each component will work as a integrated setup) there are lots of things discussed in bits and pieces, but few to suggest how a total system works.

there are cornucopia of information available about head units to connecting wire, but very few about an integrated setup as a whole.

i thought that the following answers will help everyone to identify an entire setup based on his/her budget, rather than trying to find out a HU, Speakers and other compoenets separately...

1. what is your existing setup (HEADUNITS, SPEAKERS, AMPS, DSP,SW etc.)

2. How much did it cost and when did you buy it?

3.How serious were your about your system?

4. which kind of music do you listen to ?? prefer deep bass or how is it...

5. would you recommend it to others???

ps: if i have missed anything important, which i usually do, please add to the questions posed...

Thats a nice thread and am sure it would be helpful to the ppl as the search thread isnt that effective on this forum.

Maybe information about the following would be useful.

1) Place of purchase( City/Country and Shop name) whether with Bill and warranty or without B/W

2) Place where the setup was done

Will post my setup later when am free.
