Hello Guys!

Posting here my car's recently upgraded ICE.

Had only a little amount to spend on the ICE (10K) so could get the high-end models. Earlier ones were crap and lasted correctly for an year after which the left one stopped singing:D so had to change as i was feeling like I had only one ear!

Earlier only there were two front speakers from SONY to which I have changed to front components and ovals at the rear. All this done at 8000.

HU : Sony Xplod CDX-GT494U (52W x 4) - Got this free with the car from Maruti.

Front Components: JBL - GT5 S265C (240W peak power and 60W RMS)

Rear Ovals: JBL GTO 949 Limited Edition 6" x 9" (400W peak power)

What do you all say about this Budget setup?

Congrats.. Only thing missing now is an amp and sub. This will transform your system to a different level.

Budget problem dude! Will do them in the next upgrade may be a little later.:)

Nice Anurag, need to change the speakers and add and Amp and a woofer in my beast too, unable to find time to do it. Will most probabily get it done next month.

Did you damp your doors by the way?

Hi Anurag, how did you have manage to steal the HU for your car from the dealer, that Too considering a VDi. Any secrets?

I hardly got anything for my VDi, taken delivery in November :Frustrati .

I didn't damp the doors. Just plain install. Vitamin-M shortage!lol:

Frankly speaking this car (Ritz) is the 8th Maruti from the dealer so that's why the freebies.:D

Got 2 sets of floor mats, remote locking, Sony HU (insisted that it must have a facility for USB drive), front Sony speakers, Mud Flaps.
