Amps / Subs

Hi,

Just a simple question how to judge which amp / subs is better in output ?
Like if i have all the details. like:
• MOSFET Power Supply
• Maximum Output Power:
1 Ch x 600W at 4Ω
1 Ch x 1100W at 2Ω
• Frequency Response :5Hz-300Hz
• Low Pass Filter(selectable):5Hz-300Hz, -12dB/oct
• Signal to Noise Ratio:100 dB

AND

• MOSFET Power Supply & Output Stage
• Maximum Output Power:
4 Ch x120W at 4ohm
2 Ch x 120W + 1Ch x 300W at 4 ohm
4 Ch x 150W at 2 ohm
• Frequency Response :5Hz-300Hz
• Low Pass Filter(selectable):50Hz-300Hz, -12dB/oct
• Signal to Noise Ratio:100 dB

Now which onw of the above is better. How to judge ? Plz give some tips.

Thanks

The first one is a mono amp ( read just for sub use); damn powerful...600W @ 4ohm!

The second is a 4 channel amp; which too is quite poweful and can even be used for a sub + 2 speakers or just for powering 4 speakers (but I guess you got the freq. response of teh second amp wrong)

i agree with jkdas the second one must be for speakers but the freq response is max 300hz this is some type of misprint I belive

the 1st amp might be better amp than the 2nd. why?

check out the 4ohm v/s 2 ohm ratings. the first one's rating almost doubles while the second one barely increases. it means one of 2 things (a) the transistors int eh seond amp cant dump much more current than they are doing at 4ohms (b) the seond amp has a very tightly regulated power supply.

that said the 1st amp would be used for aub and the 2nd for front and rear.
