Its nice that all manufacturers are coming up with USB only HU's. Good that it has bluetooth as well.
Will directly compete with JVC-X50BT which is also priced at 4,900.

Does the X50BT cost only 4900? Online i can only find it for a little over 6000/-
I suppose you mean the X40? that costs about 5000/-

Actually initially the X50 was available for 5k for sometime . I forgot that its price was revised.my bad.

By sony pricing this HU at 4990 this would be cheapest bluetooth HU i guess.

Actually, the base a30 doesn't have Bluetooth, the more expensive a50bt(Rs 7k MRP) has the Bluetooth.

Good to see USB only players making inroads into the market. Can anyone point me to a player that plays video too?? Would be great if it plays many formats like H.264 etc. Thanks!

Nope..Haven't seen any such video playing models without the CD Players.
I suppose those would be the next logical move by the audio companies
