re: LBM's Ground Pounder V2.0! EDIT : Windshield cracked (Page 7)

OMG, LBM you got one hell of a twisty swift there. Couldnt imagine that the glass & metal could bend like this. How would the car respond with the same effect when being driven. At one point I though the glass would shatter. Seriously I guess the bystanders will hve to get themselves insured in this case.

That's wicked. You seriously need to check if the Swift body can handle this.

It would be better if you do not keep this volume while in motion.

Ohh My GOD, you gotta be kidding me. This is insane. Seriously LBM, looking at the video i wonder how long will your car last . It just seems ready to blast open. Also i wonder of any negative effects to human hearing.

re: LBM's Ground Pounder V2.0! EDIT : Windshield cracked (Page 7)

That has to be the craziest video I have ever seen. I wonder how the windshield and the rear view mirrors are able to take that kind of abuse. Looks almost like they would crack or fall off.

Dear LBM, please post the SPL figures along the pics of the setup. Waiting eagerly.

That really is a GROUND POUNDER.

Cheers.

re: LBM's Ground Pounder V2.0! EDIT : Windshield cracked (Page 7)

Simply awesome. Was shocked to see the roof act as a jelly. Would love to see how others react to this when you go on public roads. Imagine the scenario. Car pulls up at a junction, play the bass, car acts as a jelly and the driver will be literally floating inside. On seeing the amount of bass generated, I guess the cars parked right beside yours will eventually rattle.

Mighty impressive stuff! Loved the video as well.

One question: the video shows the car's body vibrating like a jello. Is that good for the car's body? Sorry for being paranoid, but aren't you worried about all the power ripping the car apart?

Also, a completely stupid question: aren't you worried about your ears?

re: LBM's Ground Pounder V2.0! EDIT : Windshield cracked (Page 7)

Impressive, impressive and IMPRESSIVE again. I will admit that I am an absolute rank noob at most of the things in this post. What a revelation. Opened my mind up to a lot of possibilities. Whether I have the fortitude to actually do something like this to a car, probably not at this point.
Rated 5 Stars.

Good God!!! That's just unbelievable and crazy!!! I haven't seen any car wobble like that! That's a real ground pounder, or should we say; a car pounder??!! But still, a thumbs up for your efforts in setting up the wall.

Btw, I like your yellow shoes in the video! (this is ot!!)

You have an evil DJ for a brain. Your "hair trick" thingy pales in comparison to this monstrosity.

Excellent stuff!!!

I cannot even think of what you would come up with next. How in god's hell will you ever top this?

dear LBM please bring the car to my farm..cant afford tractor. your car would work wonders in loosening the soil.

the only step forward would be a car that explodes.
congrats for this feat. look forward to punjab police hiring your car as a torture device (spl only)
also can we get a SQ video?

What SPL were you able to achieve?
Glass will not break as it has some amount of flexibilty so that it flexes when music is played !! Till now more than 150 db+ @ 30 hz

My be the engine is running !!! Fabia or any ride it will flex like this. Check out vids done by other people on youtube you will understand what I mean !!!!

None as these are sub sonic frequency which we humans cannot hear just feel and see them !!!

About the car falling apart, the purpose of the built is to do flexing and doing hair tricks and other funky things. It has no other purpose. I would be the happiest person if the front windshield cracks. Call me paranoid but I am the only one in India who has done this !!!!

Sir this car is not tuned to the SQ side of things, It is meant to play things loud and clear.

re: LBM's Ground Pounder V2.0! EDIT : Windshield cracked (Page 7)

This is fiendishly crazy LBM. It's mind-boggling to see that video. By the way, can we see a set of more photos after the completed build.
Utter, complete respect!!

About the wobble, I think this is similar to the pen wobble trick that we used to do as kids.
How to do: Hold the pen horizontally in you hand and flick it up and down while moving your hand up and down too. It looks as if the pen is made of rubber.
