Don't you mean 'damping'? Unless the Wurth sheets dampened your spirits.

Spending 30-40K for damping Safari should be expected if it has to be neat. But, without proper dampening sound wont be what it is supposed to be.

Go ahead and let the sound engulf you!

Yes indeed - I'm sure you're spending a bomb and that it will be worth the bomb and then maybe some more...

Meanwhile, read my signature and GET THERE.

Im a bit confused regarding worth... does it come as damping sheets as well or is it a chassis sitffener/ liquid mixture ?

I definately need to dampen as there is way too much rattling and road noise in the cabin. The 15" subbie is going to add to the vibrations bigtime!

Plan as of now is to buy a few sheets of fonomat and use that for the front or boot, and then dampen rest of the gaadi with wurth.

Of course I will take this route only if it proves to be cost effective...

Zak / B&T your inputs would be helpful

Wurth is defenitely cheaper than Dynamat! And it does it's job but it's a bit heavy too.
If you have an option between fonomat and wurth, then It'll be good to get fonomat. Or you can run a combo too.

BTW, what car is this for?

cost effective is the name of my game ! This is for a santro zipdrive.

Combination of wurth / fonomat is what I thought too... Fonomat will cost me 220/- a piece (10" * 10") sheet.

What is the pricing for a similar quantity of wurth ??
