Go with 70 Mai Pro with GPS module.
You won't be disappointed.
Trust me.
70mai has been great for me so far. They have the new version with front & rear cams too.
Placed an order for 70mai Smart Dash Cam Pro with GPS Module today. There is a deal going on for Prime customers. Was just wondering if there is an option to hardwire the same.

There is certainly an option to hardwire the 70 Mai Pro.
I was planning the same and even discussed it with
A4anurag.
Post discussion realised that it would almost cost me around 3k to get all the necessary tools and Hardwire kit so dropped the plan.
The
DDPai Hardware kit on Amazon is retailing at 1200 INR which is what you need.
Apart from that the tools and other stuff would roughly cost around 1800 unless you have all of them.
Please do share your inputs/reviews if you plan to hardwire it.
I have the same dashcam for the front so would help me in future in case I change my plan.
Finally went ahead and placed an order for DDPAI Mini dash Cam on Amazon for the rear view.
Also ordered a 64 GB card as well.
Total bill was around 4100.
I hope it's worth the investment.
Will share the reviews post-installation.

Since your budget is under 6000 why don't you go for the "70 Mai Dash Cam Lite"
I am using the 70Mai Pro version and its worth the investment.
The 70 Mai Lite one only has a few features missing but its still the best IMHO.
I haven't used the other ones so cannot comment.
DDPAI Mini Installation | Rear Windshield | Rear USB post | Creta 2019
************************************************** *******
-I had purchased
DDPAI Mini for the rear visuals as the front one is being managed by 70Mai Pro.
-I wasn't fussy about a lot of features in the rear cam so was looking for a VFM buy.
-Amazon sale provided that opportunity and I bought the dashcam along with an SD card.
-I tried searching for videos for rear cam installation on Hyundai Creta 2019 but couldn't find one.
Observations
**********
1. The USB cable provided with the dashcam is just enough to reach the USB port on the rear AC vent. It might differ from vehicle to vehicle.
2. It's nearly impossible to hide the cable end to end.
3. A right-angle USB connector on the charging port is a must to avoid cables protruding out.
4. Amazon cable came to rescue to overcome the cable length issue.
5. I was able to tuck most of the Amazon cable under the Rear Air Con Vents which made the installation clean.

Have placed order of the same. Costed me Rs. 4999/- and additionally can fit the GPS later on. A 1000/- bucks more than the 1S but has more value only with the possibility of adding GPS at a later stage. Not able to find any other aditional feature over 1S albeit the screen to watch videos on the go.
Guys who have 70 mai dash cam pro, please suggest how to keep camera screen off when car is running & cam is recording. The cam is getting heated up with screen on.

Sorry for being way too off topic, why have you swapped your front and rear headrests? This is dangerous. That way you have no whiplash protection in the car. Kindly revert to actual arrangement for the safety of yourselves and passenger.
Sure will do that A S A P.
Appreciate your suggestion.
Are there any non-China brand dash cams in the market? I am reluctant to purchase a Xiaomi product. In the meanwhile, is it okay to use the dashcam apps on an old android phone from 2016? I know that people recommended against it earlier, but technology has moved ahead since then and heating issues are greatly reduced because apps are more optimized. My budget for this is around 5-7k INR, hence I cannot afford the Garmin or Transcend devices.
