Pio 5650 HU+Pio speakers(360W for rear) and with the remaining money get Pio speakers for the front. Should be a nice setup overall with tight bass.

niki, go for

Sony HU 5K (app)

JBL 6 X 9 3.5K

Pioneer 4" front 1.0 K

Install + Wires 0.5 K (since entry level system, so dont spend too much on cables etc, u'll be getting original wires with speakers though!)

5K + 3.5 K + 1.0 K +0.5K = 10K

aZa I am not sure about the quality of the Panasonic products. Whatever I have seen from them till date hasn't really been impressive. Atleast with Pioneer/JBL/Sony etc. we know that its a proven and tested product.

Definately...i'm so sure cuz my friend got the Pio 5850HU+Pio 360W ovals+Pio ???W for the front in his Esteem. Cost him close to 12k.

And since 5650HU should be cheaper, i'll definately cost u arnd 10k. And trust me u won't be disappointed with the speakers. They deliver some neat tight bass...

BTW, since u don't have a sub, u could save a lil money by buying a HU which doesn't have sub-out n all(i doubt if there are any good ones without sub-out except Alpine which will cost ~7.5k,) and with the cash left, u can get better speakers.

And stay away from Sony HU's. They give lots of probs in the long run, and IMO Pioneer HU's are way better than Sony.
Sony HU's tend to have a problem with reading CD's even with the slightest scratch.

Hi Everyone,
I got one question - how does one install 4" speakers in the front of an 800? In the type-II (new shape) 800, theres soemthing that seems to be a grill on either side of the dash board that looks good to accomodate 4" speakers! but how does one mount the speakers behind this grill? Is there some kind of MGP/MGA part thats sold seperately that fits behind the grill and acomodates the speakers? What other options exist without drilling/cutting to mount front speakers in a 800?

Thanks in advance guys.

if there is a grill on the dash the speakers are mounted under the dash.

true.... in any of the 800s, speakers are mounted under the grills, inside the dash. i got my 800 overhauled and ICEd a few months back and yes, pioneer 4" UNDER the grills is Ok! IMHO, maruti 800 is one of a car that u can mod easily! or for that matter any of the low end -mmmmrrrrutis!
