for teh baleno? 10 inch IB install should do fine. You may need to seal the boot efficiently. May need some cutting too for the tray.

Get a Pio amp. A mono block if you can afford or a good 4 channel to run teh frnt and teh sub in bridged mode.

emm, sorry dude.

YOu want a IB install? or a boxed sub? I use a 10inch JBL sub (GTO1000B) fed by a Blau amp. I would suggest the same as its easy to setup and sound good.

If you want jsut one amp, I would suggest Pio 6150. Use 2 channels for frnt speaker and teh other two in bridged mode for teh sub. Also, if you could see my garage pix, you will see that my Pio amp is fixed to the back of the rear seat.

Well....i want everythingbut unfortunately i cant afford em!
The current plans were to get 6x9 coax at the back,6"comps at the front and have a 10"sub on the parcel tray.want to put the sub here coz we need the boot space.Lastly wanted to go in for a fake alpine amp to power the sub and the rear while the front would run off the hu(just temporary till i can afford proper amps).

11.5K (20K less 8.5K) for 4 speakers is a good budget.
He should hear Infinity, Boston, Hertz, Blaupunkt's Velocity, Alpine (R series) etc. and decide what suits him best.

6" components in the front mated to 6" coax in the rear would be my bet. The components would be about 7K and the coax about 4K.

cooldude,

a) I am horribly bad at model numbers or prices
b) I'd implore you to listen to atleast 3 brands before making up your mind
c) the Pio Hu is not a bad HU just make sure you are getting it with bill and warranty there is a lot of grey market stuff floating around. other good HUs are from Alpine, Clarion, and am told that even Sony, Kenwood and JVC are making decent units (I have not heard much excpet for the Alpines).

Cool dude get the 6850 it is a good hu with furture expansions options. Like Navin ji said listen to atlest 3 set of speakers before installing. Go for componets in the front with tweeter near the a-pillar base and in the rear u can go for co-ax speakers this all will be done in less than 20k.

OT-> this is the first time some one is completing his ICE setup with less than assigned buget (if he plans to add a sub later and drive speakers with the hu).....lol

Binz i was not talking about u sorry man if it hurted u.....

any ways u are talking about IB with a 10 inches in a swift. If i was u i would never do that. because in swift there is a little gap between the rear seat and the boot door and it will be a very difficult task to seal the boot from the cabin. Go for a enclousre setup it will yeild u best results....this will only add a enclousre to ur budget only.....

Hi I jus bought a swift and need help for the audio install.
My budget is 20k
I have two setups in my mind to be completed under 20
1. a HU, front component speakers and rear coax
2. a HU, front component speakers, sub and an amp

which setup would you guys recommend and please suggest the models also, although I am more inclined towards the second option...

I like listening to rock and techno and i like listening loud

I do have an option of upgrading the system later
