No LBM, I think i understood the reason.

Window handle needs place to ghumao. It will hit the speaker ring while ghumaoing. Maybe that's what he means.

Still do-able. I think you just need to remove the plastic door pocket, or cut part of it...

I believed it was possible as I traced the speaker size and pasted it on the door... but then was wondering why the person had told me it wasnt possible.

Thanks Gunman, LBM and Rareone for confirming and clearing that up.

LBM... this wasnt a shop keeper, it was somebody from the forum. In fact most shops I inquired were ready to do it but thats like going to a government hospital for an operation lol...

Yippeeeeeeeee... front comps coming soon

Need your comments on my new ICE setup

Hi Friends,

Today I met Touqeer of Sound Fusion. For my Santro he suggeted me to go for
HU - Pioneer 6850
Front Comp - JBL GTO507c - 51/4" OCmponent on frnt door
Rear - JBL GTO 937 with plank.

Is this fine or any changes required. First of all I was'nt ready to cut the door pads. But he promised me that he'll do it very neetly and professionaly. Please suggest

hu ok
front compos go for 607 not 507 as we need atlest 6.5 inch in the front for some bass as the 5.25 could not do a fine job in that department...

rear ok

Id thought of 6.5 (rear) + 5.25 (front) for our santro.

Navin sir had given the following response... similar to what LBM has posted above

Navin is right about that part about more bass being upfront when using 6.5" front speakers over 5.25". There is another consideration however, that in some brands, 5.25 and 4" speakers sometimes have better midrange quality than 6.5" speakers. So it all boils down to what brand you are using, and how their various models sound.

Require experts suggetions

Hi Bass&Trouble,

As per your opinion which 4" speaker will give better midrange quality than 6.5" speakers. If u can suggest me i will check that one only. And one more thing today I checked in Grey Market for speakers. The rates are ,

HU - Pioneer 6850 - Rs.8700
Front - JBL GTO607C - 6.5" component speaker - Rs.4950
Rear - Infinity Reference 9613I - 3 way 6" x9" speaker - Rs.4800

Is this price good? Will infinity referece is better than JBL GTO937?
