I would sincerely recommend that you dont dont the sincerity of ANYONE on this forum - lest you be asked to establish your own! GENUINE is what all of us are... and so is all the advice you can find here!

If you have advice to give - GIVE ... else CHILL.. read.. learn... or dissappear!

Just want the pretenders to know that we also know!

Rightly said Kb! to the core!

Calling Mods before even properly getting into the forum is ridiculous. One should make himself familiar with everything happening in the Forum before he jumps into Moderating!!!

Quoting prices here is not new and Gunbir only did it!
Gun Paaji, We all with you man! Dont fret!

BTW, What happened to the guy who started this thread? Did you get your car ICEd? Man! Inform us with pics if so!

Thanks Gunbir for listing the price of Hertz.Panfax dude just chill..I'm sure there are better ways to sell products than use the forum.

Back to the topic of this thread...
How would the lowend Hertz model Dieci DSK165 - Rs 5350 (i'm shamelessly sticking to the budetwalla category guys ) compare with JBL CS series or Alpine stock S series ..without amps and subs ofcourse?

start recommending things which are in everybody reach not extra heavily price
Some people dont mind bidis... others like their smokes to be rolled on the inside of a Cuban virgin's thigh. So there's no harm in reccomending an 80k speaker.

To each his (or her) own.

HU from USA

A friend of mine is coming from the US shortly....

I have been thinking of sourcing the HU from the US considering the high prices of the B&W HU's available here...

Need urgent answers to the following questions ....
1.Which mp3/WMA/CD HU to buy in the US?..Not more than Rs 8000/8500 in rupees equivalent(This way I can go for better speakers here)?
Are there any compatibility issues with HU's for US market used in India?

2.What would the warranty be like..Would it work in India?

3.Where to source it from?..Is crutchfield a good option or are there other stores/websites where he can go physically/online and buy at cheaper rates(provided they exist in his town)?

4.Do you have custom duty on car audio?

Overall it was my feeling that Some of the B&W HU available in India would be cheaper in the US...Please correct me if my perception is wrong.

Get the HU from here with B&W for thrice the price. By doing so, you'll be helping our poor economy and our poor politicians. LOL!!

Get one with 2 preamp outs. 3 is better. I love Alpines. Pios are VFM and 5600 is a good buy. Think one of teh Clarion you listed had a USB port.
