As usual we have been able to extend someone's budget....once again

Except JBL we usually wont recommend sony/pio door spk/subw.Why dont u go for all JBL system? Its a quality product but not expensive.

I also wont recommend two 12" coz u may be feeling less bass bcoz of subw being underpowerd,so u have to buy better amplifier so that both subw can get adequate power and also make ported box for more low_bass.

So now u can go for--------

Pio HU 9000 [no sony/jvc]
JBL front and rear spk 8-9000
Pio 6100 amplifer for door spk 7000
Alpine 605/650 for 2 10" subw <12000 [LBM knows its price]
in ported box

Rest for cables+install........
Beleive me,its very difficult to get a decent system with subw under 60k.And i have not even recommended u buying good cabling which will cost abt 10k for ur system.

I would recommend autoplanet at phagwara for installation as he is supposed to be the best in ur area.

Doc, I have heard the 306C in a small 1 cu. ft box in a CVT infact there were 2 of them driven by a old Pio amp. They did not sound bad with hip hop etc. and dance type music so maybe they can be an option (considering the budget). Ofcourse they are not JBLs.

Also I asked the owner to add a stuffed 4"dia x 3" long vent and make a box a bit more lossy considering the one note bass and it did help a lot. Now that owner thinks I am a genius! :-) Poor kid.

Thanks a lot but if i keep extending my budget you will get me thrown out of my house. please qoute me the prices of all jbl's speakers amp subs etc all and now my younger brother want's me to go in for 16'' with 275 in my dicor and with 50-60K budget alloted to me by my parents can i do it all ( i don't guess i can if i will go for high end componets). To be frank i've never heard JBL's i've heard pio sony and they r kinda OK to me but i want to invest in a (read) good not high end system cause we(with close friend) use system to max only when we are in geri(just cruising at 20-30 kmph what we call it in punjab) mode . otherwise i won't be pushing it to half.

Pls Pls its all audio guruji's give your final listings and is pio HU that good. and i not getting pio that easly and moreover there are lots of fake pio in market both HU and speakers.
and i don't know why but i am more inclined towards JVC as it give out more clearity over whole music band and i admit that JVC bass output is bit low that pio.
so give me final adive so that i can post some pics and make u all guruji's happy.

Do not write off JBL's just because you haven't heard them. I just heard a set a few days ago and the quality blew me away. I would advise you to stay away from Pioneer/Sony & go for JBL speakers. The JBL's are going to sound as good in the GERI as they are going to sound normally. They are certainly worth the slight price difference. And just to tell you I am no expert but just a layman who appreciates his audio!

Overdose. Next time 2 smileys per post. Ok?

How many subs are you using now. The 552 can drive 1 sensitive 10-12" sub the 554 can drive of the them.

I would guess that neither of these amps are very smooth. I assume they will sound simialr to the 502/504 (which I have heard). So it would make sense to use a smoother amp for the front and rear speakers and use a 554 only for the subs (if you are using 2 subs).

JK, he will be hard pressed to find Alpine in Punjab. I agree that the Sony SD mono (SD51X) is his best bet, and Sony is available all over Punjab. He could also look at the Sony SD12 2ch amp.
