Better DACs are more accurate in the conversion.

Incidentally, as of 2016 Samsung owns Harmon Kardon and all these brands/companies: JBL, Infinity, Bang & Olufsen, Mark Levinson.

Mostly premium systems will be different (better) than the basic ones. It will largely depend on the type of car and the amount of time you are going to spend besides what sort of music you listen to. And what all Audio do you have at home.

I will always get the upgraded one if that's an option.
