this is the latest ....bling bling from Pioneer..... iam myself considering it......
last i checked in delhi................8850 was the highest model available ...........with P80 available at 23k .....

Any hows, gurus whats ur opinion ....pioneer 980BT v/s pioneer P80

apparent difference seems like the The Dual(L/R ) 16 band gr. equalizer P80 has...............

so if i buy 980BT will i be losing on the SQ bit P80 would give me ?

@somebody ....if u want the conatct no. of pioneer grey market dealer ...PM me.

980 BT 9800 BT are the same... so relax

the nomenclature depends on the region where it is sold.
eurasia will have it as 9800/980
americas as 980/9800

its a bluetooth enabled hu
it was launched first in canada and will take atleast a few months more to be officially available.

sq shud be the same , the difference will be the addes bt feature for mobiles with contact display and 50 number phone book on hu with arnd 5 bt device pairing including a2dp for mobiles supporting the same

Speedofreak...

Aint no Guru... but based on my research - YES - the P80RS is top dawg in SQ amongst their regular range with only the P90 better than it - but that is almost three times as much!

yes sir I did that when I was installing the 9450 the very first day....now i am use to the scratch......

the 8850 is hardly touched it is only the play back source only all the setting on the HU is flat...

It is a pain to adjust the pxa when the car is moving so I use the preset memory to make my fav adjustment....and the most one used is the sub output...which vares from track to track........
