blue raven, it is not really that hard. you make it sound like it needs a Phd. All you have to do is not fall prey to the "yank it - crank it" method.

I think they call you Ashok because of your nick name on the forum "Hydr Ashok" even i used to think your name was Ashok until i bumped onto this thread.

Aaaaaaaahhhhhh... Now I get it. It was meant to be Hydra + Shock. Looks like it turned out to be something else too.

Tuning subs is nothing, its actually not very difficult, by what I meant is overall tuning, tho it's not relavent to this topic as we are only speaking abt subs, but to balance the highs, mids and lows on all speakers along with the sub is no easy job though it seems pretty easy. It takes time for any tuner to get the right skill, you are very experienced, you will know well.
and it does need a little skill to know how to tune a bandpass with an amp with double the power, as its difficult to hear when the subs are reaching their limit.
