Verna sounds very nice with a 6X9 and components powered by a normal HU.
In Sam's case, there's a good amp added too. That's going to make the cake taste very very good!!

Sam, Now I am definitely going to get a ride in it. Right??? OK, don't wanna ride! Just a few minutes permission to listen to the system.

{PICS}
Even I had some problems in the evening with the pictures. So, didn't wait now for the whole page to load now. Imageshack with it's new face looks good to me.

You are most welcome amigo. Just remember there is no sub yet, so this will be purely a mids and highs listening session.

That is exactly what I am stressing again and again here. Verna sounds good and the ovals can produce some good lows when fitted properly in this car. I think Many people get fooled thinking there's a sub hidden somewhere.

That is what my experience with Verna ICE felt like. Yes, I did peek my head into more than 6 different Vernas with different setups. Only 1 had a Sub.

A sub is more like icing on the cake!!

Just for that last part I'm tempted to steal the HU! LOL. Just kidding. You have to rub it in Sam dontcha?

BTW why not this one
Panasonic Model Details

It has a digital amp that dumps 30W RMS. Ya Ya I know that for you 60.4s are cheaper than cigarettes but it would be nice to have someone known to use this HU.

Nice setup Sam! Pics of the rear parcel tray if you will please? And those tweeter mounts are nice, the way they integrate into the door panel, and keep the tweeters angled.

The choice of amp does give an idea of the specs of the Infinity test mules :-)

Dual infinity subs? You are going to town on this aren't you? Dual 10"ers or 12"ers?

And I noticed you have your avatar on your lappie too :-)

Actually I would have prefered the tweeter rear mounted with only a hole the size of the grill cut in the door panel. after that you could add a washer to the door panel to hide the cutting (ID of grill) and spray paint the grill and washer to the same colour of the door vinyl/leather. It would/could really look stock then.

OT: B&T did you manage to get a nice pic of my stock sub?

@navin, hydra - I repeat, I'm keeping it simple guys. @hydra - The rear panel is stock. From the outside it looks like there's no speakers on it.

@ my choice of HU - let's just say I took what I got with a smile and a thank you.

@hydra - It's gonna be a twin, front firing 12" Infinity box - one to die for.

The plank was cut using a cardboard former. It is shaped to the cavity and someone got in and pushed it in with his legs. Even though we mounted it with screws, nuts and bolts, even without those, it is a tight fit.
In the second pic it is with the 60.4 amplifier mounted on it. On the left side will come the GTO601.1, when I recieve the woofer box.

Ya, I actually was wondering if you had pics of how the parcel tray looked before you closed it up. (For a dekko of the speakers actually, heh, heh -- thought you wouldn't notice, heh, heh).

I'll look forward to see pics of the Sub Box. Is it a custom job or does it come that way from Infinity? If it comes with two front-firing drivers as stock (from the factory), I guess it would be the first such sub-in-a-box solution in the market in India? There have been ones with an active driver and an passive resonator thing (from Blau and others also I guess), but two proper drivers? Not yet, I guess.
