Tool, you see that big key on your keyboard right next to your "' ' " key? It is what we call a "carriage return" key. Think of it as you would the brake in your car. It is good to use it...sometimes...

Thats a lot of expensive sounding stuff. If the Pajero is a diesel, I presume you'll be getting a lot of sound insulation done as well.

Gears,

hello again everyone..
umm ok now i need to get my amps sorted.Considering the fact that all the amplifiers ( 4 channel tru- tech & monoblock audison-lrx) are now out of production.
Now as guruji gunbir said.... the new Audison LRX AB amps are worthy successor's to the amps that i had listed.
The following was what i had listed...
Head Unit

Alpine IVA-D310 - Already have with me bought for 1050 $

Speakers

Hertz HSK 165 - 2-Way Components (2 Sets)
OR
Hertz HSK 165.3 3-way Components ( 2 sets but only if not too much cutting of doors is involved. This choice can be made last minute too buy the Sir's)
Image Dynamics IDQ12 V2 Subwoofers (2 Sets)

Amps

For Bass :-
Audison LRx 1.400 Monoblock For Subwoofer -
OR
Need Suggestions for a Bass Amp

For Components :-
Tru Tech T03 4.150 4-Channel Amp For Components

Wires& Accessories

Audison Capacitors BSF 1.3 Farad (2 sets)
Audison Grounding Terminal BGT21(2 sets)
Audison Battery Clamps SBC 41P (2 sets)
Audison Main Power Wire 2 Gauge MP2BL
Audison Speaker Wire FL 214
Audison SFH 11WP Fuse Holder For 2 Gauge Main Power Wire
Audison BFD 21 Distribustion Block With Fuse Holders
Stinger Expert Series 20 Foot RCA Interconnects ( 3 sets) -- already have with me. Paid 120 $ each.

So now i have 1 small question sir's.. what amps and power ratings would you recommend for this setup ? or let me re-phrase this.. umm what would all you guru's do ??.. ( feel free to change anything you want ) heheheh .. oh btw.. HAPPY NEW YEAR...
thank you very much in advance already...
Big Big Boom.

Hello bro

a very Happy New Year to you too...

Tool, I can be more specific if I knew what Pajero you have. Do give model details, door, dash, boot pics etc.

Pending further details; here's what I recommend for a "basic" setup:

Head Unit > Alpine IVA-D310
Speaker Amp > Audison LRx 4.300
Front Speakers > Hertz HSK-165 (6.5", 2way comp)
Rear Speakers > Hertz HCX-165 (6.5", 2way coax)
Sub Amp > Audison LRx 2.500
Subs > Hertz HX300 x2 (sealed)
Audison Capacitors BSF 1.3 Farad (x1)
Audison Grounding Terminal BGT21 (x2)
Audison Battery Clamps SBC 41P (x2)
Audison Main Power Wire 2 Gauge MP2BL
Audison Speaker Wire FL 214
Audison SFH 11WP Fuse Holder For 2 Gauge Main Power Wire
Audison BFD 21 Distribustion Block With Fuse Holders
Stinger Expert Series 20 Foot RCA Interconnects (3 sets)

But, you asked me what would I do... hmmm.... this is fun

Ok here goes:

Head Unit > Alpine IVA-D310 (I would keep it, optical out to H701 processor)
Processor > Alpine PXA-H701 (this I would add, and I know you will like)

Speaker Amp > Audison LRx6.9 (70w x 4 + 75w x2)
Front Speakers > this is where it gets interesting...
Tweeters > Hertz Space 1
Midrange > Hertz HD500 Dome
Woofers > Hertz Space K6L
Run these active off the 6ch amp, level, delay and crossover through the Alpine HU via the H701 processor

Rear Speakers > None

Sub Amp > Audison LRx 1.1k (800w x1 @2ohms / 1090w x1 @1ohm)
Subwoofers > Hertz Air Mille 3800 (15"ers, ported)

Audison Capacitors BSF 1.3 Farad (x1)
Audison Grounding Terminal BGT21 (x2)
Audison Battery Clamps SBC 41P (x2)
Audison Main Power Wire 2 Gauge MP2BL
Audison Speaker Wire S214
Audison SFH 11WP Fuse Holder (x1)
Audison BFD 21 Distribustion Block (x1)
Stinger Expert Series 20 Foot RCA Interconnects (x3)

I know I know, its a bit extravagant, but hey! you asked me what I would do...

hello again people
Now Guruji's i need advice on these Confirgurations. I am posting 2 configs. Both configs have the Front speaker Section Running Active.Which one would you take ?

Config 1

Head Unit :-

Alpine IVA-D310 With PXA -H701
Or
A Tube Surprise + Tru tech Active crossover.

Speakers :-

Hertz Space 2-way components K6L (2 Sets) ( 250 watt Max / 125 Watt Cont)
Image Dynamics IDQ 12 Subwoofers (2sets)

Amps :- This is where i need the Advice !!!!!!

Audison LRx6.9 6-channel (70w x 4 + 75w x2)
Audison LRx 1.1K Monoblock (800w x1 @2ohms / 1090w x1 @1ohm) For IDQ Subwoofers.

Now in this Scenario.. The Audison LRx 6.9 will power the front(active hence using 4 channels) and rears(not active hence using 2 channels).
The Power split would be as follows.

Front :- Active hence using 4 channels
70Wx2- Tweeters
75Wx2- Midbass
Rear :- Not active hence using 2 channels
70Wx2
----------------------------
Config 2 :-

Head Unit

Alpine IVA-D310 With PXA -H701
Or
A Tube Surprise + Tru tech Active crossover.

Speakers

Hertz Space 2-way components K6L (2 Sets) ( 250 watt Max / 125 Watt Cont)
Image Dynamics IDQ 12 Subwoofers (2sets)

Amps - This is where i need the Advice !!!!!!

Audison LRx 4.300 4-channel ( 65Wx4 @4ohms)
Audison LRx 2.500 2-channel (200Wx2 @4ohms)
Audison LRx 1.1K Monoblock (800w x1 @2ohms / 1090w x1 @1ohm) For IDQ Subwoofers

Now in this Scenario.. The Audison LRx 4.300 (65Wx4 @4ohms) will power the front tweeters (active hence using 2 channels.) and rears(not active hence using 2 channels).
The Audison LRx 2.500 (200Wx2 @4ohms) will only power the Front Midbass(Hence making the Fronts Active). The Power split would be as follows.

Front :- Active hence using 4 channels
65Wx2- Tweeters - From LRx 4.300 ( 2-channels left for Rear )
200Wx2- Midbass - From Lrx 2.500 ( Used all 2-Channels)
Rear :- Not active hence using 2 channels
65Wx2 - From Audison LRx 4.300
-----------------------------
now which one of these scenarios would you take ? and why ?
thanx in advance for all the help and advice...
hope that stirred up some brain cells.. hehehe
Big Big Boom

Tool, I would personally go for the first setup. Simply because it is simpler. And it doesn't compromise on power. Lesser amps, simpler wiring, lesser potential problems later.

The second setup powers the speakers in a pretty complicated way. Your front stage is powered by two different amps. There is certain to be some difference in the current (power) going into the different amps, and I feel this could cause some problems with the quality (and uhhh... synchronicity?) of output. I won't even begin to speak about how complicated the speaker wiring is going to be (forget the power wiring).

BTW whats A Tube Surprise? (Forgive my ignorance). You've covered amps, so it is not some exotic tube amp - that much I got :-)

There is no such scenario of current / power difference when using two different amps especially from the same manufacturer and lineup. There is no sychronicity problems, because you have active crossovers to take care of that.

Nothing sounds like properly tuned active system because it is tailored according to the car and listening preference.

Also the Time Alignment / Delay makes more sense in active system than passive system.

You can run an active system with Tube / Solid state Class A amps running the tweeters, Class AB running the midbasses and subwoofers powered by Class D amp. There are no issues anywhere and it will sound outstanding.

i would suggest you to first listen to these set ups.adding additional amplifiers to power the speakers is a good option for better sound.
if i was you(i wish) then i would have definately gone for the second option.more the seperates better the sound!!but i still recomend to listen to it first.just LISTEN
