Folks im still in a fix about whether to upgrade cabling/interconnects from Connection audison...
What I meant was ...will keeping the Audison interconencts be making it a very weak link in the chain ...( taking into account that may be going for an LRX amp option )...

keeping in mind an exhausted budget... I may upgrade in stages....

What should be the priority of upgrade :

Speaker cable
Interconnects
Power cable....

If I am to upgrade what brands/models do I go for? and any price indications would be great....

Any specific brands that you would recommend? there are many in the market that I have seen or heard of:
i would first need soem advice on interconnects---
Stinger -- expert,helix
Connection Sonus ( from audison stable )
Tsunami
Monster
Belden
VDH ( but i think they are more associated with home audio )
Kimber ( again I think theyare more into Home audio )
Gurus please shed soem light....

From what ive read different brands/materials have there own sonic signatuire... what im looking for is warmth in my music....

Not sure about car but in home audio, there's no best cabling. It all depends on the rest of the stuff you have and the only way to decide which one suits best for your particular system is by testing out lots of them.

I know of a person on whose system a 10$ el cheapo monster interconnect sounded better than a 100$ DH Labs interconnect. Unfortunately a corollary of this is that cabling can be used as a tone control for a system.

Sk If you dont want hard on the pocket and wanna have good quality also you can look for Sommer and Neutrik Connectors.

I am using them and they are quite good. And will not burn a hole in your pocket also.

the wire will cost you Rs 175 per meter and the plugs will be Rs 150 per/pc.
here are some pics for your reference.

You can go for a much more good cable like Supra but it will cost you 750 per/meter.

I am using the Supra from HU to PXA and from PXA to the amps I am using Sommer.

I have used Sommer and Supra with good results. For some time (since 2002-3) I had been sworn to secrecy about these cables but now that it is public I can say that Sommer esp is very good VFM.
