Hi all,
I am looking for a integrated after-market touchscreen system which will have the following features packed together
- Android Auto
- Dashcam integration
- Basic features like reverse camera with guides, Bluetooth connectivity, etc
- USB, Aux, support
- Compatibility with steering mounted controls
- Preferably a >7 inch display (9 or 10 will be great)
I am unable to find one system with all the above features.
Is there any solution to the above?
I dont want multiple wirings to mess up the cars interiors as I like the clean dashboard look.

I don't know any stereo that offers dashcam integration but most other stereos offer the rest. The biggest display you will get is 7" as that is the biggest permitted under the "Double DIN" or "2 DIN" (ISO 7736 specifies a maximum panel size of 180 x 100.3 mm) specification.
Several members have purchased this Sony as it may be the cheapest stereo with a 7" screen.

But, this does not have steering controls, as it is more of a Dashcam than an audio system.
I have not used this, but there is someone in the forum that has a similar / same system installed.

I think given your needs, an Android Head unit is the best suited. They offer all you need, but I am not sure how well the dashcam feature works in comparison to a standalone dashcam. These HUs are vehicle specific and have an OE fit. What is questionable is the quality of each feature on offer.
If you remove the requirement to support video recording, I think you can get branded choices which might turn out to be more reliable and offer better quality in the longrun.
HI
Iam having Honda 2013 model. Looking for Android HU. Any suggestion to buy in online or in chennai ?
I bought a woodman neo go with 2 gb/16 gb for 6 or 7 k.
Comes with native android, BT, Wifi, 2xUSB. The GPS sensor is sourced under the dash to the windscreen, and the USB sockets are in the glovebox. With a Wifi dongle, I am enjoying it with Prime music and Tunein.
Navigation works well, and it also has mirror link, though I dont use it much.
I cant say much about the lag, as I am really not bothered even if its there. Its only a one time thing, as I really dont need to switch that often.
Reviving this thread in 2021.
Has anyone recently got an Android head unit installed?
A friend got a MaxAudio (forget the brand, its just another rebranded one) Android Head Unit installed on his Innova. It has FHD display, sim card support, Android 10, 4GB RAM, 64GB ROM and you could download anything from PlayStore. It is also integrated with DashCam, reverse camera and has Digital Signal (Sound?) Processing which enhances the audio output. He got it for 23.5K in JC Road, Bengaluru.
I found another one with the brand Curcuit-I (without sim card support) for a much lesser price and had it installed on my Scorpio. But it had lot of issues - In fact, just too many issues to convince me to retain it. I returned it and got a full refund.
I am now on the lookout once again. Looking out to see if there are better options in this price range.
PS: The Pioneer Android Auto HUs are way out of my budget :)
