if i had access to a good installer i would have got a decent compos (5.25 or 6 )for the front.

me have a doubt; since his 4inchers would be located at the company fitted pods, and hence open to at the rear, how effective would it be?

hey guys ,

I needed one final inputs on 4" components spearkers again.

Right now i have two choices with me. first one is

and the second one is earthquake FC 4.2

Focus Speakers

I wanted to go in for kickers but i am finding it hard to source it. I have seen this earthquake 4' inchers but not sure how good is it compared to kickers ,Any input/help on this would be of great help to me.

I already have following in my car .

Front speaker - Yet to decide.
Rear speaker - JBL GTO 937 6x9 ovals
Amp - JBL cs.60 4 ch amp
Sub woofer - JBL -GT 12
Wiring -Monster cables
installation: Speakers and sub woofers both mounted in customized boxe's

Thanks in advance :-)

Kicker 4" Component Speakers available with "Supercarz" on JC Road, in Bangalore.
I would not suggest you choose Earthquake, now that I have told you where to get the Kicker Compos from.

kicker cost's

angelfire Kicker ES 4.2 cost around 5600/- approx in blore.

I finally skipped the idea of 4 inchers and went in for a 5.25 boston component spearks on the door .. did all the installation at autofusion koramangala ..its a very clean and neat install.

Thankyou all you guys for suggestions and inputs. Now next step would be a monblock amp which i would consider in next couple of months.

Good Move, now you will get some good mids, which would not have been possible with 4" Compos.

Well done. Most Maruti cars have a measly 4" slot in the front. Do post pictures so they can see how you fit a 5.25" component set.

T.
Maruti cars can accomodate 5.25" comps in the doors with some modification...but when the speaker slot is located in the dash as in case of an Esteem vxi(the new ones that is)...No modifications can be done to fit a 5.25" comp or speakers...As the slot provided is too congested and th speaker grills are moulded in accordance with the shape of the dash

and it is sick with the sound hitting your knees. I am looking to find a clean way to install speakers on the front door. Still haven't found a good workable idea.

yea thats right.ive got 5.35 inch speakers in my zen. so its basically a problem when the speaker slots are provided in the dash...like angelfire stated.
